And conversely, there were 5 cosponsors who voted “no.” This is why it’s so important for every Senator to receive calls from their constituents right now.

Everyone who called by the end of the day on 11/28 was entered into our compression garment giveaway. We began notifying the winners yesterday. If a winner chooses to give back their prize, we will draw a new name and continue as such until all prizes have been awarded.

It takes less than 5 minutes to call your two Senate offices using our Senate Call Action Alert or the information below. Most offices have after-hours voicemail, so you can call anytime and simply leave a message. As of yet, there is not a Senate vote scheduled for the LTA, so the purpose of your calls right now is to help make sure the bill gets a Senate vote and becomes law before this Congress ends in just a few weeks.
On December 14th, our House sponsor’s Health Legislative Aide will be recognized for her work on the Lymphedema Treatment Act at the 11th annual Rare Voices Awards! Attendance (both in-person and virtual) is free and open to the public, but you must register. More details and the link to register are available here.
Please help us keep the momentum going with continued calls to Senate offices. You can call daily if possible, and should call at least once a week! If we don’t get the bill through the Senate during these final weeks, we will have to start all over again in the new Congress in January.
