This was a tremendous year for the LTA! We are so grateful for our incredible grassroots advocates like you, who make their voices heard by writing letters, making phone calls, attending meetings and more!

Some of the many accomplishments of the 114th Congress include:
- Reaching a majority level of support in the House with now 261 cosponsors
- Introduction of a Senate companion bill that garnered 29 cosponsors
- Inclusion of the LTA in the “Legislation to Improve and Sustain the Medicare Program” hearing
- The endorsement of the American Medical Association
- Advocacy teams in all 50 states with over 850 members
- Free Advocacy Training webinars
- A public service announcement video
- Distribution of over 200,000 free information cards
- New educational materials including two infographics
- Our Lymphedema Lobby Days, which included over 70 people from around the country – our 2017 dates are tentatively planned for March 26th-28th
