16 states and counting… we need your help!
Each state’s Medicaid program is now required to have a Beneficiary Advisory Council (BAC) comprised of current and former Medicaid beneficiaries, family members, and caregivers. The BAC is a great opportunity to advocate for better lymphedema coverage!
Thus far, individuals in 16 states have come forward with an interest in applying (see list below), but multiple applicants in each state are welcome, and we really need advocates in all 50 states.
If you meet the eligibility requirements and are interested in serving on your state’s BAC, please contact us, and we will connect you with your state’s application process. In your message, be sure to indicate that you are interested in your state’s Medicaid BAC.
