If you are a healthcare provider, or are a current or former Medicaid beneficiary, this is an opportunity to help improve coverage for lymphedema treatment and compression supplies.
Every state’s Medicaid program has both a Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and a Beneficiary Advisory Committee (BAC). Sometimes they go by different names, but all states are required to maintain these types of advisory committees.
If you are a healthcare provider and would like to apply for your state’s MAC, or are a current or former Medicaid beneficiary and would like to apply for your state’s BAC, please CONTACT US. Be sure to indicate your state, the reason for your inquiry, and whether you are a patient or medical professional.
We will provide you with the information on how to apply. Keep in mind that every state manages their advisory committees differently. Some accept applications on a rolling basis and others only do so periodically.
And as a reminder, the survey below is still accepting responses, if you have not yet participated and would like to. It takes about 25 minutes to complete, and all information will remain confidential.
Thank you for your consideration of these advocacy opportunities!
