2026 Lymphedema Treatment Insurance Coverage Survey
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Responses will be kept confidential and results of this survey will only be shared in aggregate, to assist lymphedema patients in choosing insurance policies that provide the best coverage.
The survey will close mid-October, and the results will be published in a report in November, to assist patients in choosing their plans for the upcoming open enrollment period. To read the 2025 report, please visit our Insurance Coverage Reporting page.
While coverage can change from year to year, a policy’s current benefits are often a good indicator of future coverage. Comparing coverage across many plans can highlight which insurers have better or worse coverage overall for lymphedema treatment supplies.
From my own experience with my son, who was born with primary lymphedema, I know how difficult it can be to get straight answers from insurance companies and insurance brokers.
Parents, caregivers, and therapists may complete the survey on behalf of a patient unable to respond on their own, but please only submit one response per patient.
