Pregnancy with Lymphedema and Lipedema – How Do They Impact Each Other?
Limited research is available on how pregnancy and lymphedema or lipedema impact each other, and even less evidence-based information is available for treatment options. This webinar will cover the changes during pregnancy and the post-partum period that impact the lymphatic system and how one can safely treat any signs or symptoms that develop.
The guest presenter will be Dr. Shelley Smith DiCecco, PT, PhD, CLT-LANA, CI-CS. Dr. DiCecco has decades of experience treating lymphedema, is the founder of LymphEd, and is also conducting a study on how pregnancy and lymphedema or lipedema impact each other.
