If you are a cancer survivor, we invite you to participate in this 5-minute anonymous survey: Cancer Survivorship and Disability Identity: A quantitative study towards increased support for disabled cancer survivors.
This survey is being conducted by the Southwest ADA Center at TIRR Memorial Hermann and ILRU-Independent Living Program. Their research aims to analyze the relationship between cancer survivorship and disability identity, and to determine what role an ADA education plays in developing a disability identity. More details are available in the graphic below.
If you still have questions about coverage for compression garments under the Lymphedema Treatment Act rules, don’t forget that we have a Frequently Asked Questions page.
Registration is now open for the 27th Annual State of Georgia Lymphedema Education and Awareness Conference, taking place in October. Please visit the Lighthouse Lymphedema Network website for details and to register.
I hope you are enjoying summer!
